Construction
Construction has commenced and each of the three main components (raw materials enclosure, biofilter and tunnels) will be undertaken concurrently to reduce construction time as much as possible. At this stage construction is expected to be completed in 2018.
Construction preparation
Whilst construction has commenced, preparation is continuing for later components of the construction;
- Detailed designs are continuing on a number of ancillary services
- Contracts continue to be negotiated and awarded to suppliers. Where possible local suppliers are used.
