We are a fourth generation family business which has been a part of the Hawkesbury community for nearly 60 years.
We are leaders in the mushroom industry.
Our mushroom compost accounts for 70% of NSW’s total mushroom production, and 25% of the country’s production. Our expertise has been gained over 50 years in the industry and we have developed refinements to the composting processes that are now used throughout the world.

Our operation is HACCP certified and we continually look to improving our processes. As part of our commitment to continual improvement, we will be making a significant investment at our facility to construct world’s best odour mitigation technology to reduce our impact on the local community.
We practise environmental sustainability.
Our composting process is an example of ‘double recycling’. We take agricultural by-products, such as stable bedding from the NSW Mounted Police and poultry manure, mix it with other organic material and create compost that produces healthy food. At the end of the process, our ‘spent’ compost is recycled for use in the landscaping industry.
We play an active role in our local community.
We have been based at Mulgrave since 1981 and are the largest private employer in the Hawkesbury. We directly support 800 agricultural jobs and indirectly support a further 200 jobs through our contractor network. We take pride in our success here and in playing our part in the local community by supporting others.
